Adoption Chronicles Project Celebrates National Adoption Month on Daytime Chicago

(November 28, 2025 – Chicago)As part of our month-long celebration of National Adoption month, ACP founder, Richard Pearlman, and adoptee, Marianne Kelm Cotton, appeared on WGN morning show, Daytime Chicago. To say that we were, and still are, bursting with gratitude would be an understatement.

Together, with hosts Amy Rutledge and Tonya Francisco, they discussed many aspects of adoption including how it has changed over the decades – from a time of social stigma to an era of openness. They also covered the importance of sharing stories about the adoption experience, especially from the modern era of adoption which ended in 2020.
